Last Saturday afternoon, about fifty members of the extended Wathen family gathered at St. Aloysius Church for the launch of The Wathens of Southern Maryland: Their Genealogy & History! I gave a short presentation of some of the things that I've learned over the past couple of years of research, and attendees had the opportunity to begin to browse the book.
